May is finally over, and I am exhausted. I’m sure most of you are as well. I thought that as my children got older, May would be less busy, but I was wrong. Other people’s children are doing things that you want to attend, there are many work deadlines when you work in Catholic education, and there is also trying to get some work out of your last remaining student.
I had a fabulous girls’ weekend with some dear friends right at the beginning of the month.
My husband and I had the pleasure of traveling to Florida for our son’s graduation and hosting a gathering to celebrate.
Last weekend, I had the great privilege of speaking at the Seton Home Study School graduation, which was lovely. A whole weekend filled with activities.
In between that there was a lot of driving, working, helping, shopping, wrapping, cleaing and various and sundry other things that keep the home fires burning.
I need a nap.
