I am sorry for the long break from book reviews, the more personal posts have taken up much time but I am feeling a groove emerging so hopefully I will be more consistent in the future. I know many book lovers subscribed to hear about new books, and I am hoping more will share their favorites in the comments.

Catherine Aird is one of my favorite mystery authors and has been for many years. Her real name is Kinn Hamilton McIntosh and she is the author of over twenty detective fiction novels and a few short story collections. The Religious Body is her first novel which was published in 1966. Her most recent novel was published in December of 2023, yes Constable Country was published during the author’s 93rd year. She’s 93 and still plotting out excellent mysteries. I hope she continues for many more years.
