My apologies for being a day late with this post, I thought I had scheduled it but I must have neglected to do so. Sigh.
I don’t remember when I first encountered author Mary Roberts Rinehart. I think it was in my late teens or early twenties, but it immediately became necessary for me to track down as many of her books as I could. This wasn’t easy since they were largely out of print and there was no such thing as thriftbooks.com or Amazon. Back then in the olden times, one had to dig around in second-hand book shops to find treasures such as out-of-print books and dust mites. Also, you could count on your local library having books rather than computers, pride flags, and coffee shops.
Those were good times.
